 Levy According to notes found in the Hyamson papers - Raphael - Sarah Lyon went

 to England when her son was nine months old

      P125 of Jews of Ireland states he was native of Holland

      Hyamson says he he is mentioned in the Ipswich Jewish Cemetery

      as Ansell Ansell but on his tree lists him as Asher

      Died at Rope (Hope?) Lane, St. Clements

      Jews of Ireland uses dates of 1758 to 1835 but death cert. says he died in

      1838 at age of 77.

            in Leeds.

            At age of 13 (acc. to 1881 census) was at

      Olive Hospital and Orphan Asylum which later became

Norwood Orphanage.

              m. 1933 Max BIRMAN b. 16 Apr 1897 d. DEC 1966 Flushing, Queens NY

              Max Birman was a civil engineer, graduate of NYU and chief engineer

  for the White Construction Company, builder of the original Yankee Stadium,

  Hayden Planetarium, St. Vincent’s hospital, the Cyclotron at Brookhaven

  National Labs and the clubhouses at Aqueduct and Belmont racetracks..

              8 Paul BIRMAN  (self) b. 3 Aug 1935

    A retired electrical engineer who worked for power supply manufacturer,

    Kepco, Inc. as its Marketing Manager.

                m. 1968 Rosemarie VAN D'ELDEN b. 22 Dec 1935

                Rosemarie is a retired mainframe computer programmer and data processing

    consultant.  She was born in Frankfurt, Germany as an American citizen.

    Her father was the Secretary of the American Chamber of Commerce Frankfurt

    In the years before the second World War.
