Paula Shengold Mistress of Ceremonies

Nearly 130 guests attended this widely-anticipated event at the Sound View Restaurant.   They were rewarded by excellent presentations by Wally Maalouf, a professional dog trainer, Miranda Beeson, poet--who in addition to reading some of her own work, created some poetry from lines contributed by each table that contained a key word, such as "Radio" or "Swimming Pool."  It concluded with a short performance by George Cork Maul, an east end composer pianist and performance art specialist.

Paula Shengold conducted an auction as Roberta Garris was kept busy distributing the winnings to happy ticket holders.  Roberta contributed the plantings that graced each table and which were distributed at the end to one lucky attendee.  A good time was had by all.
